Anvilnode follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards. We do however use regular Malware Scanning and frequently audit our own systems. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. All customer data is hosted in OVH's datacenter in Paris, France. As a fail-over solution, we replicate all our data to a Frankfurt datacenter operated by AWS. Due to the nature of our service, we have various locations around the world which also hold data. This data isn't personal and is completely service related. The main accesspoint(also known as control panel) for the service (thus also controlling the data) is hosted in Paris, France.
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. Anvilnode does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 18. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
Anvilnode stores and processes your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the objectives which are intended for that data. The retention period can therefore differ for each purpose, for example to meet legal obligations (e.g. to meet our accounting and fiscal obligations, Anvilnode is obliged to keep records for up to 7 years) or for the legal necessity to provide certain data as evidence in case of disputes for up to a maximum of 10 years after termination of your contract. These archived data are, of course, only accessible to a limited extent.
As a data subject, you are entitled to have incomplete, incorrect, inappropriate or outdated personal data corrected or supplemented. For this purpose, our customer service can be contacted from a registered address or your data can be amended via our client area. You are required to keep your data up to date, we request that you notify us of any changes, such as if you move house. You also have the right, without undue delay, to have your personal data deleted if and insofar as:
Anvilnode will send you a confirmation message after complying with a request for erasure. In the case of partial erasure, Anvilnode will also explain why the request could not be fully met. Depending on the nature of the request, it is possible that some services can no longer be offered by Anvilnode. Anvilnode is also not always able to erase all requested data, for example, to comply with legal obligations (e.g. in order to meet accounting and fiscal obligations, Anvilnode is required to retain invoicing data for a maximum of 7 years). To have your data deleted, contact us by opening a support ticket in our client area or email us at email@example.com
